Vivi Jiji: Father
A lalafellen traveler that met Uteki's mother during her time in Kugane. He spent much of his time with her to soothe his many griefs and over time they fell in love. He struggles with opening up to his daughter and has a hard time showing that he cares so at times their relationship can be strained. Swolo helps and encourages him though, and he's getting better at letting himself care as time goes by.

Swolo Yolovachi: Adoptive Father
Her father's significant other and one of her best friends, there isn't much she won't talk to him about during Vivi's trips away from home. He takes a lot of time each day to help her acclimate to living in the city, and together they've accumulated a decent Eorzean wardrobe for her to wear. He pays more attention to her than any of her family ever did, and for that she's grateful.

Danquia Ejinn*: Mother
A woman with a strong desire to see the world and learn about everything, and a self taught linguist that never could stay in one place for very long. Because of her absences her husband and son longed for her acceptance and strove to get her to stay, often forgetting about or ignoring her daughter.

Genqu Qalli*: Stepfather
A minstrel like many others of his tribe, he fell in love with Danquia after hearing her sing in another language. Despite her constant roaming he stayed by her side, waiting until the day they could stay together.

Genzai Qalli-Ejinn*: Older Half Brother
Born to Genqu, Genzai was raised by his father once he was weaned from milk for the first few years of his life until his mother returned from Hingashi to finally settle down. Although he missed her deeply he holds no resentment towards her for her travels, instead dedicating much of his time while she's away to finding and gathering things to make her feel more welcome when she comes home.

Samayo Mol: Close Friend
One of the only Xaela she has met during her time in Eorzea, the Mol has become one of her fast friends and brings a sense of home with her. Uteki often takes trips to Vylbrand to visit her friend and usually makes it a point to bring medicinal tea and hearty food with her.

Ransetsu Haundo: Close Friend
The Raen blacksmith that aided her in Kugane by giving her a place to live in return for help around his home and business. They became close friends during her stay, and he cares about her deeply, even offering her a life with him there in the city.
She never speaks of it to anyone, but she longs to return to Hingashi even for a short time to see him again, and often thinks of him when she's left to her own devices.

Eiji Kodaira: Close Friend
A Hingan merchant that delivers materials to the Inn upon occasion. They've become fast friends over time, and Uteki tends to dote on him with treats he would enjoy because of their first meeting. He's one of the few people she trusts in Eorzea.

In a rather shocking turn of events (to her anyway) they've become lovers. Though she's been in love with him for quite some time it took her being kissed to realize that she was allowed to and, much to her joy, he loved her too.

Okhi'to Lanatal: Friend
Okhi'to stumbled across the inn before it opened one night and they hit it off right away because of how similar they are. They tend to bounce off of each other, comforting one another in times of need although he tends to the be one on the giving end more often. He now works at the inn between his travels.

Blahomil Potulka: Friend
A cryptic man hired to be a bodyguard and defender of her business, Blahomil has become someone she can trust over their year of knowing each other. The two rarely share deep details of their lives, but he helps her become stronger and she keeps his fiery temper calm.

Blahomil is like a father to her now, more family than just a simple bodyguard. He trains her in the art of combat, primarily with a gun, and ensures she will always be ready if the time ever comes for her to need to use it.

Yvetta Stagheart: Friend
A vibrant light in the inn's big family. The bold woman and her strange gadgets are always a welcome sight when she's around, and Uteki always looks forward to the stories of her latest adventures. She does worry when Yvetta comes back home hurt, but she feels it isn't her place to question her on her choices.

Hemithea Potami: Acquaintance
A cheerful Bozjan woman who tends to show up for one of two things, insurance claims or Blahomil. Or well, usually to make him sign insurance paperwork. It looks like the two have something between them and she's happy to see him finally coming out of his shell for real, the smile on his face hard to miss when the fiery redhead is around.
